disclosure of any client information in civil and criminal law

The Aaiyyanist is bound by the Universal law of Brahman to respect the right of privacy of the client - i.e. the right for an individual soul to be left alone and become solitary, without hindrance of government, religious orders or any human organisations, if they should so wish. However, we do live in this plane of existence with its many rules and regulations that govern our many societies and the Aaiyyanist should respect those laws in the countries they operate in for the greater good of Aaiyyanism and the Aaiyyanist community. There have been many instances in the past where Aaiyyanists and the Aaiyyanist community have been persecuted when the laws of the land have been disregarded for the greater good. So for this reason, the Aaiyyan World Foundation strongly urge the Aaiyyanist to follow these sets of edicts below.

Disclosure of any client information shall only be made to legal or medical authorities, if they are required by law, or by a court order, or by the spiritual instincts of the Aaiyyanist. Also, the Aaiyyanist must have written reasons why disclosure should take place and should always discuss them with the client first (if appropriate). Here are some guidelines/examples of when disclosure should take place:

  • If there is any serious risk of suicide or self-harm by the client, then disclosure to a lawful third party must take place. Naturally it is best to get the client's consent to break confidence, and to keep the information disclosed to a minimum. If, however, the Aaiyyanist cannot secure the client's consent, the Aaiyyanist is still under legal, spiritual, philosophical and ethical obligations to seek another's help and this should be explained to the client in detail and with loving patience that the Aaiyyanist must project at all times.
  • If a legal entity (which presides over the land the Aaiyyanist/client lives in) determines that disclosure of any information is required by law (or a court order is issued) then the Aaiyyanist should disclose that information. Though as you grow spiritually you may find some laws unfair, you should always think of the greater Aaiyyanist worldwide community.
  • If the Aaiyyanist finds out that a mentally ill or misguided individual intends to harm or abuse a child or vulnerable adult then disclosure to lawful third parties such as the local law enforcement authorities must take place. Note: If there is a legal obligation to inform the authorities - the parent or guardian does not need to be informed that you will do this. The welfare of a child and vulnerable members of society is always paramount.
  • The Aaiyyanist should always disclose information to law enforcement authorities if they find out about any criminal or terrorist activity that will harm humans, humanity and the society as a whole. The Aaiyyanist must always strive for harmony and peace, not destruction and negativity as this will push good Lokas away from you and attract dark Talas and Asuras of evil intent to bind with your soul. Note: the Abhichaara or Tantric school of Aaiyyanism do want to bind with Asuras, but they have years of yogic and psychic training to perform such actions without losing control. Most lay and learner Aaiyyanists do not possess such willpower or psychic resonance, as it takes years of study, training and practise and is beyond the scope of this training.
  • When the Aaiyyanist works as part of a larger team of non-Aaiyyanists, e.g. in an Ayurvedic or traditional medical clinic, it is fine to have shared disclosure with the team as long as the client knows about this in writing and the client gives their full clear and informed consent.

This is not a definitive list but just a simple set of examples; the Aaiyyanist should always use their spiritual and ethical judgement. As you perform many healings and Siddhic sessions your alignment with the Universal forces will become closer and you will find that your judgement and wisdom in all matters will increase exponentially - until you will know exactly what to do in all situations. This 'knowing' will come naturally and effortlessly in time.
