informed consent
Aaiyyanism is about trust and harmony with all. One way to achieve this is to work with your clients on a deeply intellectual and spiritual level, that allows you both to fully unlock the spiritual gateways that encourage access to the healing Lokas or healing dimensional planes. In order to be totally aligned with your client, you must therefore have their full and absolute consent in all matters relating to the Aaiyyanist treatment. (This is also true for any Siddhic sessions also). This consent is both an intellectual contract and a spiritual one; in fact it works on many different levels which you will begin to recognise once you start practising Aaiyyanism. Here is a set of guidelines that you must follow, that should cover all the bases related to the intellectual and spiritual contract.
- Before starting any healing or Siddhic session, an Aaiyyanist must ensure that there is absolute informed mental and spiritual consent, preferably in writing - such as a signed form. The Aaiyyan World Foundation has supplied a template at the end of this training manual. The reason the consent should be in writing is for several reasons. Firstly, so that the Aaiyyanist has the consent in writing for their own records. Secondly, in Aaiyyanism, when one writes something down (either pen on paper, or by spiritually inscribing the symbols on someone) there are links or strands to the aura or soul of the individual which makes the bond and commitment stronger. One can think of it this way: when one speaks something a psychic link is formed between the speaker and the listener. When one writes something down, strands of the soul-lines are imprinted onto the medium and there is a representation in the Aaiyyanist model that describes a deep commitment from the writer. As you engage in Aaiyyanism, you will see and experience this first hand, but initially these thoughts may seem abstract, so do not worry.
- Following on from the first point, the Aaiyyanist shall make sure that explicit and totally voluntary, informed consent has been given at all times for any rituals, healings or Siddhic interactions that are performed for any client.
- As consent is a legal, moral and most of all spiritual contract, the Aaiyyanist must recognise the client's right to refuse any part of the treatment/process or disregard/ignore advice that the Aaiyyanist has given.
- As Aaiyyanism is deeply powerful, one must be careful to administer healing and Siddhic treatments to minors. In the case of giving Aaiyyanist treatment to a minor and those without the mental ability to decide for themselves; you must first have the written informed consent of a parent, guardian or relevant medical/spiritual practitioner. The adult carer/parent should be present during the treatment/care/rituals as this will amplify the healing bonds between the client, Aaiyyanist, and the Lokas. It will also aid in the resonant energy transfer. If no appropriate adult is physically present, then any written consent for any ritual/treatment should agree to this fact specifically. However, the wishes of the person/client must override any consent of a third party if they do not wish to receive Aaiyyanist healing or Siddhic intervention, i.e. if the minor refuses treatment then the Aaiyyanist will not perform any treatment regardless of what the parent or guardian says. A forced or non-consented Aaiyyanist healing session will simply not work - this is just the way the Universe operates, so you will be wasting your time as well as the clients. More details on this can be found by consulting the Aaiyyan World Foundation; but as you grow in Aaiyyanism your perception will grow and this will be obvious.
- The Aaiyyanist lives in the spiritual world but also in the physical one too, so they should be extremely mindful of the laws in each country they operate in. The relevant laws specifying the age for giving informed and intellectual consent is different in all parts of the world. In some regions of the world, clients under the age of 21 may not have the legal capacity (or intellectual capacity) to give consent to the powerful Aaiyyanist healing treatments, so you must seek permission from the Client's parents or legal guardians.
- A person who has the intellectual capacity to give consent is able to understand in simple language what an Aaiyyanist healing treatment is: its purpose and aim in bringing positive Lokas and healing resonant energy into this plane to aid the client.
Some Aaiyyanists record Siddhic and Healing sessions for training or documentary purposes. With this in mind, one must only use photographs, digital images, writings, film, audio recordings etc... of a client with that client's informed and written consent to the precise use of the material; and must be informed of all instances where the material will be used, now (the present time) and in the future. The client will have the final say on how the material can be used.
